Twenty20I called off at the Riverside
Tomorrow’s T20I has been called off due to rain. So no play will occur tomorrow; instead, we’ll have to wait til Friday to see Pieterson lead the One Day team out into the middle. Can’t wait for that if I’m honest.

Looks like Broad will be playing as he played in yesterday’s washout against Scotland at Edinburgh.

Here is how the Riverside looked today (credit to Crincifo and GettyImages):

Broad’s performance against Scotland
Well the ODI ended as a no result the rain ending up as the winner. Initially when play got under way Scotland finished their innings on 156/9. With Broad taking 2 wickets for 35 runs – in the space of 9 overs. He could have got another wicket but Wright dropped the catch! His economy rate was allright, at the rate of 3.88.
It was also interesting to note Broad came on as England’s first change bowler and bowled in tandem with Flintoff. :] A great sight that was.
England started their reply posting 10/0 then sadly the rain was back halting all proceedings!
The next match England play is the Twenty/20 against South Africa on Wednesay, And it looks likely Broad will be named in the squad.

ODI Against Scotland today
Stuart’s been picked for this. Here’s the team:

England – Ian Bell, Matt Prior (wk), Owais Shah, Kevin Pietersen (capt), Andrew Flintoff, Ravi Bopara, Luke Wright, Samit Patel, Tim Bresnan, Stuart Broad, James Anderson.

However, play hasn’t got underway yet due to rain. (Typical Scotland…I should know, I lived there for over ten years of my life!)

Anyway, more news as we get it.

I’m gonna try and get a Prediction League underway for the upcoming series against India and West Indies next year and whatever else I can find. Join in! :]

No Broad news really.
All is boring in the world of English cricket right now, unless you’re a big follower of County Cricket!

So, I’ve updated the gallery again, and also the icon archive.

Previews from the Icon Archive:

Enjoy :]

NOTE: Gallery will be updated before 10pm tonight, so don’t expect pictures to be immaediately be added.
